A timer worth finishing

Set a countdown or a Pomodoro, name it, and that label is what flies across the screen when time is up.

Let your AI take off

Connect Codex or Claude Code once. FlyBy flies the moment a run finishes, so you can stop watching the terminal.

A completion you notice

A paper plane or rocket crosses your whole display with your message on a banner. Hover to pause, click to send it off.

Stays out of the way

It lives in the menu bar, not the Dock, and flights pause automatically while you screen-share, present, or record.

FAQ

What is FlyBy?

A menu-bar focus timer for Mac. Set a countdown, and when it is up a paper plane flies across your whole screen with the note you gave it. It can also fly when an AI coding run finishes.

How does the AI auto-fly work?

Connect Codex or Claude Code once. FlyBy watches for a finished session, read-only, and flies when one completes, with no webhooks or setup. The banner shows which project just wrapped up.

Is it private?

Yes. FlyBy makes no network requests, has no account, and no analytics. It reads only the session folders you grant, read-only; their contents are never transmitted, and only a short completion label is shown.

What does it require?

macOS 13 Ventura or later, on Apple silicon or Intel Macs.
